Measured shower doors and enclosures

Choose Shower Glass That Works in the Finished Room

We measure after tile and stone are complete, check the available door clearance and build the glass arrangement around the shower that is actually on site.

One room, several possible layouts

Review the surrounding bathroom before selecting panels

A straight opening can use a door, a door with a fixed panel or a sliding system. Corners, half walls and benches add more joints and support decisions. The right answer depends on the completed surfaces and the space outside the shower.

We check where hardware can fasten, whether a moving panel has clear travel and how the enclosure will be cleaned. That review happens before glass dimensions are approved.

Tile, curbs and fixed fixtures must be complete

Preliminary dimensions help with budgeting, but they are not fabrication sizes. Finished walls may not be perfectly vertical and a tiled curb can change from one end to the other. Field measurements record those real conditions.

  • Finish the tile, curb, bench and wall caps.
  • Verify that suitable support exists at hinge locations.
  • Install nearby vanities, toilets and permanent trim.
  • Identify the shower head and normal direction of spray.

Specify every supplied component

Make the quote describe the complete installed enclosure

The written scope should name the glass, exposed-edge treatment, channels or clamps, hinges, handle, support hardware and installation. We provide measured enclosure projects and repairs rather than loose parts through a retail counter.

Glass appearance and performance

Standard clear, low-iron and selected obscured choices have different colour, privacy and cost. The usable thickness and required heat treatment follow the panel size and application.

Hardware location and finish

Chrome, brushed metal and matte-black finishes can coordinate with fixtures. The enclosure geometry still determines which hinge, clamp or support components are suitable.

Documents to keep after installation

Retain the approved drawing, glass description, hardware details, care information and invoice. Those records make future adjustment or service questions easier to answer.

Two different ordering paths

Compare made-to-measure glass with a sized enclosure system

Both approaches can produce a sound result. The deciding issue is whether the finished bathroom matches a defined system or requires glass sized individually for its surfaces.

Made for the completed opening

Individual panels are measured after construction, which suits non-standard widths, half walls, benches, sloped ceilings and specific panel proportions.

  • Dimensions taken from finished tile
  • Panel arrangement adapted to the room
  • Hardware selected for the measured design

Selected from a configured system

A manufactured system can be efficient when its size range, fastening requirements and door clearances match the bathroom without forcing unsuitable compromises.

  • Predetermined operating arrangement
  • Opening must fall inside product limits
  • Available glass and finishes depend on the line
